And thank you for the reviews, good and bad. It helps to know what readers enjoyed, and what they didn't enjoy. Sometimes even brief comments can be helpful in shaping the next book, making it better, avoiding the aspects someone found annoying or objectionable.
My romantic suspense novels are more complex than my contemporary romances. The stories are more plot driven, have more subplots and secondary characters, and a little lower heat levels - there are still love scenes, but they are less explicit. The narrative is driven by the suspense plot as much as by the emotional tension between the hero and the heroine.
I hope some of you enjoyed the free download of THE LAYTON PROPHECY on Amazon in April and May. I plan to make ANGELHEART free at some point in the next few weeks, but don't have any more free promotions scheduled for THE LAYTON PROPHECY right now.
