I was born in Finland and grew up in a small industrial town. I loved the summers - the white nights when the sun barely dipped below the horizon, the lush green forests that whispered in the breeze and smelled fresh after rain, and the fields where corflowers and wild strawberries grew along the borders. I didn't like the winters - the ice and snow, the endless dark nights, and the need to wear thick woollen tights that itched my skin.

So, when I grew up, I left. I've lived in several countries, and now my home is in England, in a small town on the river Thames, halfway between London and Oxford, not far from Windsor Castle.

I have always been an avid reader, and in 2002 I decided to try writing down some of the stories rattling round in my head. I have spent the past 7 years learning the craft of storytelling, and in 2008 my first three books have finally been published.

I write romance, both historical and contemporary, as well as romantic suspense.
