Finally. After months of procrastination, I have set up my website. I bought Mr Site software package and started with trepidation, as the feedback on the internet was mixed. Some said it's as easy as opening your front door, some said it's like breaking into Fort Knox. Some said you'll have a professional looking website in two hours. Some said you'll spend a week and end up insane. I'm uncomfortable with technology, so I assumed I'd be in the second category.

But hey, here I am, almost done, after six hours on Sunday and another four today. It would have been even less if I had read the instructions properly. Because, it does what is says on the box ... if you want a simple website, with menus that allow you to type in text and attach pictures, it really is easy. If you try to deviate from the instructions, the world comes crashing around you and no amount of cups of tea will restore your sanity.

So I've kept it simple. Now I'm off to add excerpts. If there are no excerpts, I messed it up.....
